As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA, designing, building, and maintaining core Kubernetes infrastructure components, extending and supporting tooling to build and manage virtual machines, investigating and resolving system performance and reliability issues. Creating and refining automation to improve reliability and reduce operational overhead and being on-call for the team's products and drive operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure reliability, automation, and enhancing developer workflows. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the infrastructure behind key internal tools, building integrations that streamline engineering processes, and driving improvements that enable teams to adopt tools with ease and confidence. As one of the most senior members of the team, you’ll play a leading role in designing scalable architectures, mentoring others, and driving technical decisions.
You’ll help maintain and evolve the infrastructure that powers these tools, ensuring they're scalable, secure, and easy to adopt. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll contribute to building automation, improving developer experience, and enabling better governance through quality tooling. Work closely with senior engineers, delivery teams, and stakeholders to uplift how tools are provisioned.
